Bruton Limited (the “Company”) refers to press release on the 20th October 2025, and today announces that it has exercised the options it holds at New Times Shipyard (“NTS”) for order of 2 VLCC newbuildings.
The vessels are a repeat order of the newbuilding orders the Company has placed at NTS. The price and payment schedule are the same as the most recently announced newbuilding orders. The vessels are scheduled for deliveries in 2029. The order remains subject to certain customary conditions, such as conclusion of newbuilding contracts and customary ancillary documentation.
Bruton will, following the exercise, have 8 VLCC newbuildings on order at NTS, the first vessel expected to be delivered in July 2026.
